Course Bookings

Booking your Course
At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit of £30 for one day courses and £50 for all other courses is required. The balance for the course is due for payment 7 days prior to commencement of the course. If the course is booked 7 days or less prior to commencement of the course, the total amount will be due at the time of booking. If the deposit is paid by card, agreement will be made between the Student and Salon West to pay the balance using the card details on the due date as previously described (7 days prior to commencement of course). Should a balance due remain outstanding after the due date, Salon West reserve the right to retain the deposit and cancel the course booking.

In the unlikely event of Salon West cancelling a course, a mutually convenient date and time will be agreed to re-schedule at no extra charge to the student other than the original total course cost.

How to pay
Payment is accepted by debit or credit card or cash. Salon West do not accept payments by cheque. Card payments can be made by telephone.

Student Information
It is the sole responsibility of the Student to provide all models necessary for training or assessment purposes. It is the sole responsibility of the Student to ensure that the model provided is suited for the treatment they are to undergo. Where a model is required for any waxing course, they must attend with at least one quarter inch of body hair in all areas to be treated. Salon West reserve the right to cancel a course where a student's model has insufficient body hair for the student to demonstrate proficiency.

Salon West are prepared to use discretion with respect to chin and upper lip hair. Salon West reserve the right to cancel any course where a student?s model presents skin or nail disorders, recent scarring (where appropriate) grommets (where appropriate) or any contra-indication preventing treatment In such circumstances, the whole course fee will become forfeit. Students will be informed of contra-indications at the time of booking, and if are uncertain should contact Salon West immediately for advice.

It is the sole responsibility of the Student to inform Salon West of any allegies or medical condition they are/could suffer during training which may affect continuing same. Dress Code is comfortable and practical. If the Student has a uniform, this should be worn. Long hair should be tied back and minimal jewellery worn. Shoes should be flat or with a small heel.

Tea and Coffee will be provided during the course. Students are encouraged to bring a light lunch.

Discount for Students
Whilst training, students can purchase nail and beauty products at discounted rates from our wholesale warehouse. This discount applies only to selected Millennium goods and excludes electrical, furniture and pharmaceutical products.

All students will be entitled to receive a Salon West Trade Discount Card, entitling them to purchase all future goods at wholesale prices
